Extended Health Plans

The Extended Health Care benefit was designed to provide reimbursement of expenses not covered by the provincial medical plans. Benefits cover both the employee and his eligible dependents. Some examples of covered expenses include:
- Prescription Drugs
- Paramedical Services (Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Naturopath, Psychologist, etc.)
- Hospital Coverage (Semi-private upgrade)
- Medical Supplies & Equipment
- Out of Province Medical Emergency Coverage
- Vision Care
- Private Duty Nursing
A variety of deductible and reimbursement percentages are available to provide for cost containment.
